We are seeking an enthusiastic UEC & SCC Officer to join our Urgent and Emergency Care Team and System Coordination Centre (SCC). This is an exciting opportunity to support the operational coordination of health and care services across one of the largest Integrated Care Systems in the country.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will help ensure that critical information is shared across the system, support operational decision-making, coordinate meetings and actions, and play an important role in helping partners respond to daily pressures and deliver service improvements.
Main duties of the job
What you'll do
Support the day-to-day operation of the System Coordination Centre. Coordinate information, communications and operational actions across the health and care system. Manage reporting processes, action logs, escalation records and operational correspondence. Provide secretariat support, including meeting organisation, agenda preparation and minute taking. Support urgent and emergency care improvement programmes and projects. Work closely with NHS providers, local authorities, ambulance services, primary care and NHS England colleagues.

This role would suit someone who:
Has experience in administration, coordination, business support or operational roles. Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities. Has excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Is confident using Microsoft Office and managing information accurately. Wants to contribute to improving urgent and emergency care services across the NHS. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team working at the centre of system-wide operational coordination and service improvement. This role offers excellent development opportunities and exposure to senior leaders and partner organisations across Cheshire and Merseyside.

This role operates across 7-days on a rota pattern including bank holidays and weekends.

Person Specification
Knowledge, Training and Experience Essential
Able to work a rota covering 7 days including weekends and public holidays. Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience Significant administrative experience Experience of supporting meetings, agendas and minute taking Experience managing information and databases
Desirable
Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques, and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project
Skills Essential
Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium, and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly Experience of setting up and implementing meetings and coorindating diaries.
