An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and resilient band 4 administration co-ordinator, to provide a comprehensive and efficient administration service for our Transforming Care Autism Team which sits under Neurodevelopmental Services.
We are a multidisciplinary team working with autistic adults and young people aged 14 upwards who are on the Learning Disability and Autism Program (LDA) The team is focused on avoiding admissions to hospitals as well as supporting appropriate discharges to community provision. The team works closely with commissioners to keep a focus on achieving outcomes.
The team works with individuals, their families, carers, other SPFT teams and agencies across Sussex. The successful candidate will ideally have a passion for improving the lives of this client group.
Main duties of the job
As a Team Administration Co-ordinator, you should be able to work autonomously and have strong organisational and communication skills, be able to work closely and collaboratively with clinicians and managers. Responsible for managing queries and referrals in preparation for triage, attending meetings, preparing agendas and taking accurate minutes and maintaining records, managing diaries, ordering equipment, supporting new starters with administrative tasks during their inductions and providing ad hoc service information to the service manager on request.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
NVQ3/ RSA 3 or equivalent experience Good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above
Knowledge/Experience Essential
Significant experience of a range of secretarial procedures Significant experience of working as an administrator or secretary Experience of office and resource management Experience of supervising others Experience of producing documents to a high standard of presentation with good accuracy
