Job summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised Policy and Uniform Coordination Administrator to join our team. This varied role offers the opportunity to make a real contribution across both uniform coordination and policy governance, while developing your skills and experience.
You will coordinate the end-to-end uniform management process, including ordering, recycling and disposal, ensuring uniforms are provided in a timely, cost-effective and compliant way. You will also support governance, audit assurance and consistency across our services.
Alongside this, you will provide a responsive and effective administrative service to the Clinical and Professional Policy Steering Group. This will include managing and responding to enquiries, undertaking key administrative duties, and supporting the Steering Group Chair with the coordination and administration of policy governance processes.

Main duties of the job
Be the first point of contact for phone and email queries, responding in a supportive and timely manner and escalating where necessary Understand and manage the administration of policy and uniform processes Provide administrative support the policy an uniform process, looking for improvements to our processes and procedures Arrange meetings, booking venues, inviting attendees Provide administrative and minute taking when required Use initiative and judgement at all times and know when it is appropriate to escalate any issues Monitor and action all inbox/phone queries relating to policies and uniforms and escalate appropriately to the relevant personnel Understand the importance of urgent queries being responded to and being able to prioritise your workload.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Numeracy and Literacy level 2 qualification or equivalent demonstrable skills. NVQ 3 in administration, or equivalent demonstrable experience
Desirable
Willingness to undertake training required for the role.
Skills, experience and knowledge Essential
Excellent IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, minute taking and time management skills Ability to maintain accurate records and manage data in line with organisational processes Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, managers, and suppliers Demonstrable experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer service role
Desirable
Previous experience in ordering, procurement, stock control, or logistics Experience of working within a healthcare, social care, or public sector environment
