Job summary
We are looking for kind, dedicated people to join our Hospice@Home team, to help deliver exceptional care to people in their own homes.
East Cheshire Hospice@Home supports patients and families in their own homes throughout East Cheshire. We take time to see beyond the patients condition to the whole person and their family. This essential and well supported team work closely with our partners in the NHS and other charities to complement existing local services.
Although predominately based within the Hospice@Home community team, there will be a requirement to support the Inpatient Unit Team as and when needed.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of this job role at East Cheshire Hospice is to provide a high-quality palliative care to meet the needs of both patients living with a life limiting illness and their families/carers in keeping with the aims, objectives and standards of East Cheshire Hospice.

This is a permanent post for 30 hours per week, working shifts, including weekends, bank holidays and nights.

Skills & Knowledge Essential
Excellent time management. Excellent communication. Ability and desire to work independently and within a team. Commitment towards various quality and professional standards.
Experience Essential
Experience of working in a similar environment.
Desirable
Experience of delivering holistic care. Experience of mentoring staff.
Other Essential
Commitment to professional development Ability to work nights, weekends and bank holidays. Ability to travel freely/ daily across the East Cheshire Hospice catchment area.
Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse / RMN
Desirable
Recognised post-registration Palliative Care Qualification.
