This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse, have post registration experience and have knowledge of working in a high acuity area and dealing with the associated pressures.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK.

Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

Person Specification

Registration & Qualifications Essential

Full NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions Degree / Diploma in Nursing studies or equivalent

Desirable

Further post graduate qualification in a related speciality

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential

Evidence of working within a high acuity area and dealing with the associated pressures as a qualified nurse Evidence of Continued Professional Development Able to work effectively as a member a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently Able to use reflective practice, to continuously improve the standard of patient care Post Registration Experience

Desirable

Awareness of ED political agenda and how their role as an RN will contribute to achieving targets / quality indicators. Evidence of involvement in teaching and mentoring learners
