We are recruiting for passionate and caring Health Support Workers to join various services here at The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

We are hosting a virtual one-hour information session on Thursday the 29th of October 2026 at 12:15 pm, where you can hear from our clinical services about what the role looks like on a day to day basis.

You will have the chance to ask any questions you may have about the job.

There will be tips and advice on completing the application form and having a successful interview.

Main duties of the job

Services may include:

Learning Disabilities, Specialised Supported Living Service - Leeds

Provide support for who you are, and who you want to be.

Various sites throughout Leeds.

Adult Acute Inpatient Services - Leeds

Primarily for people of working age who have been assessed via the Crisis Assessment Services as individuals who require assessment and treatment.

Complex Psychosis Pathway - Leeds

Provides a comprehensive, integrated approach to mental health rehabilitation and assertive community treatment across Leeds.

National Inpatient Centre for Psychological Medicine (NICPM) - Leeds

Based at LGI NICPM delivers biopsychosocial holistic care for people with complex persistent physical symptoms and physical / psychological comorbidities.

Children and Young People Mental Health Services - Leeds and York

Based at Leeds and York we care for young people aged 13 to 18 who need more help than can be provided at home or in the community.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country.
