An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Procurement Department for a full time Band 5 Contract Manager to join our team.
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to support the management of a portfolio of Gold and Silver contracts across the Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with contract management, procurement, supplier management, or commercial experience who is looking to develop their career within the NHS. Main duties of the job
To provide effective contract management across the Trusts contract portfolio. Lead on the development and implementation of robust contract management processes. To include reviewing and drafting contracts in support of the procurement function.
Ensuring all supplier performance metrics are monitored and implementing plans for improvement where necessary.
Identify key contracts (Gold & silver)
Manage a portfolio of contracts
Monitoring contract compliance and KPI's with suppliers and stakeholders
Supporting the drafting of contracts, placing notices on Atamis (national system)

Education & Qualification Essential
Holder or working towards professional membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS). Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant Discipline

Contract Management formal qualifications
Experience & Knowledge Essential
Understanding of Public Sector procurement Strong knowledge of relevant Standing Orders & Standing Financial Instructions in a public sector environment Sounds knowledge and experience of contract management, Key performance indicators, stakeholder engagement. Experience of responsibility for a portfolio Experience of delivering value for money / efficiency related changes Successful track record of working in high performing teams, delivering challenging targets and achieving results.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Commitment to staff and personal development Ability to develop and implement solutions to address problems.
