Biomedical Scientist - Blood Sciences Department: Pathology - Blood Sciences Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW

As a Biomedical Scientist within our Blood Sciences team, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely and high-quality diagnostic services that directly impact patient care.
A little about the role
As part of our Blood Sciences team, we work closely together to deliver a responsive and reliable diagnostic service that supports patient care across the hospital. Every day brings a variety of challenges, from processing routine samples to investigating more complex cases, making this a role that is both rewarding and intellectually stimulating.
What you'll be doing
Undertake routine and specialist laboratory techniques in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Perform diagnostic testing within Haematology and Blood Transfusion services.Review and interpret blood film morphology to support diagnosis and patient management.Maintain compliance with ISO 15189:2022 standards and quality management requirements.
