We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse - Ward 6Bwho shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join Ward 6B based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage. This 25-bedded ward offers care and treatment to both male and female patients who are acutely unwell with renal disease and associated medical issues. We also care for patient undergoing renal surgeries such as arterial venous fistula formations, grafts, renal biopsies and Peritoneal Dialysis catheter insertions.
We are in the top three NHS hospital groups in the East of England for size, so, you'll work with a great mix of patients.
We have close working links with the University of Hertfordshire and Cambridge University, as well as being a founding member of theEastern Academic Health Sciences Network. We have specialties that are not found normally at a general hospital, including cardiology, renaland robotic urology - this means that your new role will be really interesting and there are great opportunities to learn new skills.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care. Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and undertake delegated tasks from the ward sister/charge nurse. The postholder will always work within the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct.
As a registered nurse you will participate as a member of the nursing team to provide a high standard of research based care, support the team of staff working in the area to deliver a quality service which is linked to high standard of patient care and support the Sisters / Charge Nurses and Senior Sister / Charge Nurse in the training and development of junior staff.
