Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Neuro Physiotherapist to join the Hounslow Community Neuro-rehabilitation Team on a part-time, permanent basis, working 26.25 hours per week.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Band 5 Physiotherapist looking to develop their neurological and management skills or an existing Band 6 seeking a new challenge.
The successful applicant will gain experience working with patients with complex neurological presentations, further developing their clinical expertise and consolidating the skills required for specialised practice.
There is a strong focus on personal and professional development, with support from highly experienced clinicians and opportunities to participate in in-service and external training.
The role also offers opportunities to contribute to service development, national audits, including SSNAP, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Main duties of the job
The Hounslow Community Neuro Rehab Team (CNRT) is a client-centred, integrated multi-disciplinary team. We work across both intensive short-term rehab and longer-term rehab pathways supporting patients with a variety of neurological conditions. There are opportunities to develop skills in specialist neuro-rehab assessment and, in long-term condition management. There is a strong focus on working with patients to achieve personal set goals.
This post holder will be part of a team providing high-quality neuro rehabilitation and long-term neuro condition management. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, collaborating with colleagues internal to our service as well as in external teams. You will provide home based neuro-specific therapy as well as utilise on site resources for clinic-based therapy.
The service has developed specialist MDT clinics for PD and MS and this post enables opportunities to develop specialist skills with these conditions.
