We are looking for an experienced Digital Operations Manager to provide senior operational leadership within our Digital Services team.
This is a key role responsible for the effective management and coordination of resources across the Digital resource hub in the Digital Service Operations and Governance team.
The post holder will ensure that the right people and capacity are aligned to deliver digitally enabled organisational priorities in our HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 organisation.
Main duties of the job
Working with senior digital, clinical and corporate colleagues, you will support the effective planning and delivery of a portfolio of digital programmes, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that delivery issues, risks and dependencies are identified and managed.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust governance and reporting arrangements, providing clear and accurate information on programme performance, risks, resource capacity and delivery confidence.
With responsibility for resources supporting a portfolio of projects with an overall value of several million pounds annually, you will ensure that workforce capacity is effectively planned and deployed in line with organisational priorities and demand to deliver CUH strategy and business as usual digital capability.

All appointments with a start date on or after 1 October 2026 will be subject to a 12-week probationary period. This provides a structured and supportive period to help you settle into your role, with regular reviews and feedback.

Qualifications Essential
oMaster's degree OR equivalent highly developed knowledge at Masters level in digital/operational management oEvidence of continuing professional development oLeadership, digital service management or programme and project management qualification (such as PRINCE2/MSP/AGILE/ITIL) or substantial equivalent experience (A/I)
Desirable
oTraining in digital transformation, service improvement or technical specialism oProfessional registration e.g. FEDIP, BCS or advanced technical/leadership qualifications
