Grow together Our department is delivering build (projects) and run (support) services for the main DHL website www.dhl.com. Our team focuses on customer oriented microservices embedded into the platform, providing end to end delivery from idea to implementation.
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be an important part of the project activities focused on solution architecture, development and deployment of the backend components of the microservice.

• Experience as a Software Developer or similar role • Practical knowledge of Java with Spring framework (SpringBoot) • A background in designing and developing backend platforms and APIs • Proven experience with Agentic AI for efficient software development • Understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably with Microsoft Azure cloud platform • Knowledge of implementation patterns and phased roll-outs • Understanding of system monitoring configuration • Familiarity with build and release pipelines in various tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions • Ability to work in an international team environment

Great Team Hello, my name is Lukas and I am the manager of the Digital Products team. I joined DHL IT Services in 2021 as project manager for development of Express Mobile application. After the successful delivery in 2022, I moved onto the Digital Products project in an operations and collaboration-oriented role of a service owner, which later transformed into Team lead role for the whole project. This role and working at DHL is providing me with the right balance of support and challenges, which I have been able to transform into opportunities to develop my knowledge, skills and career, as well as to meet people from various backgrounds and thus broaden my view of the world.
