REPORTS TO: HR Payroll Manager

BASIC PURPOSE: The successful candidate will take full ownership and management of running the end to end fortnightly and monthly payroll processes on Core/Access payroll system as part of the HR team

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for accurate management of all payroll processes - collation of salaries, allowances, taxes, company payments and deductions (benefits, pension, private medical insurance, schemes and subsidies) • Upload of Payroll data to Revenue via ROS • Payroll administration (eg. ERR, GPG, Salary certs, Pension reports, Healthcare and Social Welfare forms) • Analysis of all payroll inputs (including joiners and leavers processes) • Management of approvals and reconciliations • Ensure adherence to documented procedures and statutory requirements • Proactively work with managers/supervisors to ensure accurate flow of information across departments (payroll inputs) • Working with the Financial Team both locally and in the region producing costing reports and costing analysis each pay period, assisting with data analysis as required • Managing the accurate recording of month end procedures • Manage the CSO (Central Statistics Office) returns on a quarterly basis and lodge data on time • Ensure the timely response to employee requests and queries, and escalate where appropriate • Provide support to wider HR team on ad-hoc duties and projects when required • GDPR compliance • Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters surrounding this role and the broader business environment.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS • IPASS Certification • Minimum of 1 year's payroll experience • Core Payroll system experience is a distinct advantage • Microsoft Office efficiency • Strong Excel reporting skills required • Excellent numeric skills necessary • Ability to work to tight deadlines • Meticulous accuracy, attention to detail and process driven • Strong communication and relations building skills • Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative • Flexibility and keen sense of responsibly and commitment • Ability to remain calm under pressure
