We’re looking for a confident and motivated Student Recruitment Officer to join our Domestic Student Recruitment team at our Nottingham Campus!
This is a full time, fixed term contract, covering maternity leave for 10 months – starting in October 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys presenting, building relationships, and organising engaging events that make a real difference to young people’s futures.
This role is predominately field based, you’ll spend most of your time travelling within your allocated region, visiting schools and colleges, and representing ULaw at events. Work will also take place at our Nottingham campus (and occasionally Birmingham campus), and from home. You will be expected to work at Nottingham campus unless you are at an event. You will have the option to work from home 1 day a week, subject to events and needs of the business.

About the Role
You’ll be the face of ULaw at schools, colleges, open days, and careers fairs, delivering presentations and workshops to inspire students to explore their options. You’ll also help to run on-campus and virtual events designed to support students through their journey from enquiry to enrolment.
As our Student Recruitment Officer, your work will directly contribute to achieving our student recruitment targets by:
Organising and delivering 150+ outreach events each year across your region Building strong, lasting relationships with schools, colleges, and advisor Inspiring students and parents through interactive talks and tailored events Supporting our student ambassador programme Using data and feedback to continuously improve our activities
Is this you?
Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) A confident and engaging presenter with excellent communication skills Highly organised, with experience running events or outreach activities Able to build positive relationships with schools, colleges, and stakeholders Comfortable working towards targets and using data to track progress
This role involves regional travel, occasional evening/weekend work, and overnight stays so flexibility is key. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
The post holder's geographical region for supporting events is predominantly the Midlands area but you will be required to be flexible and support other regions from time to time. Given the requirement to attend campuses and events across the region on a regular basis, the job holder is expected to be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Nottingham and to maintain this for the duration of employment. This is to ensure effective delivery of campus-based work and events, and to manage travel time and business-related expenses. You will be based at your local campus when not attending events.
