Location: Oxford Road

Division/Team: Division of Cell Matrix Biology and Regenerative Medicine

Hours Per Week: Full time (1 FTE)

Contract Duration: Fixed term for 24 months

The Division of Cell Matrix Biology and Regenerative Medicine invites applications for a Teaching Associate. This is a fixed-term position available for two years. The successful candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a Biomedical Sciences related subject area and will have some experience of high-quality teaching or demonstrating in a related field.

You will be responsible for:

The postholder will deliver small group teaching such as tutorials. Support practical teaching such as year 1 and 2 practicals and 3rd year project supervision. Design and deliver lectures to support practical classes where required. Contribute to lectures for master classes. Mark assessments of various types and provide constructive feedback to students.

Essential Criteria

A PhD (or equivalent) in a Biomedical Sciences related subject area. Some experience of high-quality teaching or demonstrating in a related field.
