The University of Reading is looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised, proactive and team-focused Farms Administrator to support the smooth running of the University Farm office at Arborfield.

The successful candidate will be a key point of contact between farm-based staff and individuals and stakeholders from across the University, as well as external organisations.

The role is focused on providing high-quality administrative support, with a particular emphasis on delivering excellent service and supporting the farming and research activities taking place at the Farm.

Duties include:

Providing financial support, including raising orders and maintaining financial records Preparing staff timesheets and liaising with University payroll Maintaining and updating filing and record management systems Receiving and responding to enquiries by telephone and email

You will be able to demonstrate:

Excellent organisational and time-management skills Good numeracy and strong verbal and written communication skills The ability to work confidently and independently, while also being a positive and supportive team player The ability to maintain accurate administrative and financial records The ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
