About the job:
As Research Assistant, to play a key role within QUB's strategic Centre for Secure Information Technology (CSIT) and to engage in challenging research projects in hardware-accelerated custom computing with national and international academic and industrial partners. The post will contribute to RIGOLETTO, a major European collaborative initiative developing a next-generation, open RISC-V automotive hardware platform for software-defined vehicles.
About the person :
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
Have, or be about to obtain, a relevant MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Computer Science (or related discipline). Good hardware / FPGA design skills. Good understanding of CPU architectures Relevant academic or industrial research experience in either: Hardware accelerated custom computing. RISC-V design/prototyping
