Compensation Considerations: Job Grade: 114 Hourly Pay: 18.27 - 18.67 DOE
Shift Hours: 5:00 pm - 1:30 am with Rotating Weekends, Days Off During the Week
Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm 9% and 11:00 pm - 7:00 am 14% Weekend Shift Differential: 8% Training Schedule: Must be able to do either : 0630 am -2:30 pm (Tue- Sat) or (Sun - Thur) 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (Mon- Fri) for approximately 12 weeks

Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to
• Maintain accurate data records and documentation. • Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration. • Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements. • Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures. • High School or GED required • No Experience Required
