About this role

Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM, serving the major markets in Texas with five building material yards and one window distribution facility across Austin, Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth and San Antonio. .

A Brief Overview

The Installation Project Coordinator visits job sites before installation to verify measurements, product sizing, electrical box placement, trim requirements, and other site conditions. They document findings, update plans as needed, communicate with builders and Customer Service, and revisit sites when additional verification is required.

What you will do

• This role travels to job sites to make sure everything is ready and accurate before installation. • Ensure timely completion and the delivery of a quality product by monitoring the production schedule, communicating changes, and ensuring quality standards are met through the quality walk assurance program. • Ensure compliance with all safety and company policy standards by thorough knowledge and enforcement of safety and employment policies. • Communicate and make recommendations to the Project Manager regarding schedules, employee issues, plan issues, time sheets, budget accuracy, change orders and extras and customer field issues etc. • Promote our business in the building community by building long term relationships with our customer’s field personal through daily communication to ensure that we have the relationships in place that will allow US LBM to continue to grow our business. • Provide a strong positive leadership example for all employees by providing direction, setting work examples, and mentoring employees. Assisting crews in advanced tasks. • Ensure all company tools, equipment and material/supplies are used appropriately and secured properly at all times. • Covering City framing inspections, as well as covering builder service items.

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Install or Framing Experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Ability to perform effective planning and scheduling and work independently. • Strong communication, organizations, and math skills.

Licenses and Certifications

• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Class D and maintain an acceptable driving record required.
