About this role
The Data Protection Intern supports the Privacy Office in keeping the company compliant with UAE data protection laws. The role gives hands-on exposure to the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). Create and maintain our data inventory and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), including data categories, purposes, legal bases and retention periods. Assist with DPIAs and privacy reviews Update data privacy policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and business needs. Help track regulatory updates. Update data maps and data flow inventories with business teams.
