About this role

At Jimerson Birr, our team has accepted the lasting responsibility of protecting our clients’ rights, businesses, properties, investments, and finances. Our professionals are integral, trusted advisers and advocates in both established and emerging businesses, giving our clients insights into legal and business considerations that guide prudent decision-making. We work with some of the world’s most respected and well-established businesses, as well as start-up visionaries, and individuals looking to overcome challenges. About the Role The Client Success Specialist owns the client experience across our book of business, making sure every client feels the value of the relationship, spotting where the firm can do more for them, and turning that insight into growth. You'll manage a portfolio of client relationships, understand where each one stands today, and act on what you see — proactive outreach, timely check-ins, and clear communication about how the firm can help. Working closely with Marketing and Sales, you'll surface opportunities inside your portfolio and hand them off cleanly to the right team, with the context they need to move forward. If you're energized by building genuine client relationships, sharp at reading what a client actually needs, and disciplined about managing your own book without daily oversight, this role was built for you. This is your seat if: • You build genuine client relationships over time, not just check-ins on a schedule. • You can read a client’s history and situation and form a current, forward-looking view of how to serve them. • You’re organized enough to run your own book without someone checking in on you. • You know exactly where your job ends — you build the relationship and qualify the opportunity, then hand it off to the team that carries it forward. • You’re self-directed and consistent, comfortable running your own cadence without daily oversight. Own the Relationship • Own and prioritize a portfolio of client relationships, keeping records current, organized, and reflective of where each relationship stands. • Run a consistent, planned cadence of client touchpoints that reinforces the value of the relationship and keeps the firm top of mind. • Serve as a trusted, professional point of contact for clients, coordinating internally with attorneys and firm staff as needed. Drive Engagement • Design and refine client engagement initiatives, coordinating with Marketing on content and any required clearances. Surface and Hand Off Opportunities • Identify genuine opportunities within your portfolio, qualify them thoughtfully, and hand them off to the appropriate team with full context. • Partner with Sales and business development to move qualified opportunities forward. • Track engagement activity and outcomes, and share what you learn back with Service, Sales, and Marketing.
