As a Cruise Train Rail Guide onboard our McKinley Express (MEX), you will be providing a narrative of the scenery and historical reference points throughout the rail journey onboard a single level domed rail car. You will play a large role in the overall guest experience and success of our operations. You will the first and last person the guests see while riding the train. In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our domed cars as well as assisting in the daily Food and Beverage operations onboard the train. Perform a variety of advanced customer service tasks. Provide information and narration for guests while traveling on board our rail cars. Take an active role in the dome food and beverage service. Respond to queries from coworkers, management, and guests. Promote a safe and comfortable experience for guests on board. Present and distribute retail items for purchase. Regular entry of retail items into the POS (point of sales) system. Process guest payments and prepare reports needed for accounting personnel.
