We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical System Design Engineer specialized in electrical systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical systems, including project engineering, system design, with a focus on ensuring seamless integration of complex electrical systems. This role requires a deep understanding of requirements definition and collection, as well as proficiency with requirement management tools, model based system engineering approach and logging tools. The Electrical System Design Engineer will also possess strong project engineering skills and have the ability to effectively manage supplier relationships and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and define detailed system requirements for automotive projects. Ensure requirements are clearly documented, aligned with customer needs and fully traceable throughout the project lifecycle, including DFMEA. Ensure certification and functional safety requirements are fully understood and incorporated into the system design. Generate requirements documentation for suppliers to deliver against and for the DV team to test against. Oversee the technical aspects of automotive integration projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution. Coordinate with design, development and testing teams to meet project milestones. Assist with project planning, resource allocation, risk management and scheduling. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure deliverables meet system integration requirements and quality standards. Manage supplier performance, resolve issues and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Track and report on project progress to the programme lead, identifying risks and mitigation strategies. Coordinate between internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Provide technical support to the DV team during issue investigation. Apply Vector and Peak tools, including CANalyzer, for CAN network diagnostics, testing and analysis. Provide technical guidance and support on the application of these tools during integration and testing phases.
