The Content-to-Discovery Platform team owns the end-to-end flywheel that turns raw content into the supply that our Pinners discover. As a Staff Product Manager on the team, you'll set direction across four connected pillars: acquisition of content and catalog data; processing, enrichment, and freshness; indexing for shopping and search; and retrieval and serving. You'll partner with engineering, data science, and product leaders across content, shopping, and search to acquire the right supply by category and domain, keep it fresh and accurate, index it with relevance built in, and serve it to the Pinner reliably, at scale, across markets.

What you’ll do:

Set and drive a multi-year strategy for the end-to-end content-to-discovery flywheel across acquisition, processing, indexing, and retrieval/serving. Own the roadmap for the infrastructure supporting content, scraping, and catalog onboarding, ensuring the right supply enters the system by category and domain. Drive the extraction, processing, metadata enrichment, and freshness lifecycle, keeping content and catalog data current and trustworthy. Own indexing across Shopping and Search Own retrieval and serving with an understanding of latency, performance signals, and inventory. Define how the org measures freshness, and reliability, and use that data to prioritize investment and demonstrate impact. Partner across content, shopping, search, and infrastructure teams, act as the spokesperson for the platform, and mentor peer PMs (not a people-management role).

What we're looking for:

10+ years in product management or technical leadership, with a record of building and launching content, catalog, or commerce-supply platforms and infrastructure at scale, not solely consumer features. Direct experience owning one or more of: content/catalog acquisition and onboarding, data enrichment and freshness pipelines, search or shopping indexing, or low-latency retrieval/serving systems. Track record of improving data quality, freshness, or relevance metrics across a large, multi-stage pipeline. Strong technical judgment; able to go deep with engineers on tradeoffs across ingestion, indexing, and serving architecture. Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams and systems. Analytical and strategic mindset; comfortable making high-accountability decisions and defining metrics that prove impact. Exceptional communication and influence at all levels, from individual engineers to senior executives. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees a plus.
