WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles. In this your role, you take end‑to‑end responsibility for the correct and efficient execution of the group financial consolidation process for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and a fully auditable consolidation trail. You drive the operational consolidation control framework throughout the closing cycle by applying consolidation rules consistently, reviewing complex submissions, and proactively guiding service units and local finance teams on deviations and required corrective actions. As a subject matter expert, you independently analyze and resolve complex legal and technical consolidation challenges, including intercompany mismatches, foreign currency translation, impacts of organizational changes, and other IFRS‑related topics. You play a key role in shaping and enhancing the technical consolidation landscape by contributing to the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of the system architecture, while monitoring and implementing new functionalities and releases. You take part in cross‑functional initiatives such as reorganizations, carve‑outs, acquisitions, and system or process transformations—ensuring that accounting and consolidation implications are fully addressed. You safeguard data quality and transparency by steering variance analyses, coordinating structured follow‑ups, and ensuring clear documentation, while acting as a competent counterpart to auditors and other stakeholders. WHAT YOU OFFER Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field At least five years of relevant experience in group consolidation and financial reporting in an IFRS environment, ideally with exposure to complex accounting structures.
