The Manager, Ammunition Depot Automation manages the Ammunition Operations Center program, LMP AOC module, and automated identification technology supporting ammunition logistics at Hawthorne Army Depot. This position supervises assigned automation personnel, maintains AIT equipment and software accountability, trains users, and supports compliant and efficient automated ammunition processes. This position is located on site in Hawthorne, NV. As the Manager, Ammunition Depot Automation , here’s the work you’ll do: Manage the Ammunition Operations Center and supporting LMP AOC module as part of depot automated ammunition procedures. Supervise assigned AOC personnel and communicate program status, risks, and performance information to key leadership Manage Automated Identification Technology equipment, software, handheld scanners, AIT tag printers, RFID tags, and related supply requirements. Ensure tag creation, accuracy, placement, and automated marking processes support applicable ammunition shipping and storage requirements Create, deliver, and maintain AIT training, desk procedures, user lists, building lists, SOPs, and IOPs for HWAD users. Ensure users understand automation requirements and current procedures for effective system use. Conduct quality checks and causative research for automated processes that support supply chain management, shipping, receiving, re-warehousing, and Class V ammunition inventory. Analyze logistics processes, identify weaknesses or improvement opportunities, and support implementation of corrective actions Troubleshoot and support maintenance of AIT equipment and related application software. Submit and track ADA CCB trouble tickets and coordinate with JMC senior logistics subject matter experts to resolve system issues. Leads JMC inspections and audits related to AIT, LMP, Army Audit and ammunition depot automation activities and requirements. Coordinate with government staff and site stakeholders to provide requested information and ensure audit readiness. This role is for you if you have these skills: Ammunition depot automation knowledge sufficient to manage AOC, AIT, LMP module, scanner, RFID, and related software processes. Technical training capability sufficient to develop and deliver AIT and automation training to large and small groups of users. Technology troubleshooting capability sufficient to analyze, test, and resolve unique AIT, LMP, and application software issues. DoD logistics systems knowledge sufficient to support automated ammunition, shipping, storage, and inventory processes. People leadership capability sufficient to supervise assigned personnel, set priorities, communicate status, and support accountable program execution Process analysis capability sufficient to identify automation weaknesses, conduct causative research, and support practical corrective actions. And if you have these qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of Supply Depot Operations experience. 3+ years working with ammunition depot automation, AIT, LMP, or related systems. Must be able to obtain and maintain all certifications required by the Company’s Master Training Plan. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and a CAC. In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the hourly pay range for this role is $94,960- $142,440. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
