Adhere to General Work Requirements Perform managerial responsibilities, for example, hire/fire, disciplinary actions, PMP, and professional development Analyze and review monthly profit and loss statement to ensure department and/organization is within budget Report cost analysis and status of time line projects to clearly identify progress and action plans to Director on a regular basis Develop and implement strategic initiatives designed to enhance company bottom line, philosophy, and/or business standing concerning the material logistics organization Lead team to achieve the highest level of inventory accuracy as possible in order to support OTS (Off the Shelf) availability Support Achieving Excellence in BOE. How to thrive in this role? Bachelors degree or equivalent Management related experience 7-8 years of experience in material/logistics management with 3 years progressive supervisory experience. Working knowledge of FAA /TC (Federal Aviation and Transport Canada) regulations Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and web-based applications. Thorough knowledge of inventory management and material logistics key business processes and governances Working knowledge of account and budgeting principals necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements, financial reports, and meet financial objectives Working knowledge of AS9100/9120 processes Working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application (Six Sigma) Training skills necessary to provide instruction and education to employees in assigned area Planning and organization skills necessary to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload of assigned area employees with a multiple project setting Verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, organizations, and regulatory agencies Business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to remain objective with business requirements and regulatory mandates Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!
