About this role
Role Purpose Create a reliable packaging-compliance data and reporting capability by gathering, validating, reconciling and combining information from multiple internal and external sources. Convert raw packaging data into repeatable customer, distributor and authority-ready outputs, with clear assumptions, source traceability and quality controls, while adapting the data model to new jurisdictions and future requirements. Core Responsibilities Extract and reconcile packaging data from SAP/BI reports, Excel files, contract manufacturers, suppliers and other approved systems. Build repeatable datasets and reporting workflows that combine product, material, supplier, market and packaging-component information. Prepare Declarations of Conformity, reports with packaging weights for EPR reporting, recycled-content summaries, material-reduction progress and design-optimization analyses. Track emerging packaging regulations with Regulatory and Sustainability teams, translate new obligations into data requirements, and update reporting models and templates. Perform quality checks, investigate gaps and coordinate corrections across Packaging Engineering, Operations, Procurement, IT and external partners. Maintain version control, reporting calendars, audit trails and supporting evidence so outputs are reproducible and defensible. Develop dashboards showing completeness, deadlines, compliance risks, packaging-weight trends and reduction opportunities. Standardize templates and automate recurring work where practical without compromising control. Key Deliverables Trusted data foundation Governed dataset with documented sources and definitions. On-time reporting Accurate recurring and ad hoc market-specific reports. Regulatory readiness Flexible models that support new fields, countries and deadlines. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Statistics or a related field. 4+ years of data analysis, BI, reporting or master-data experience in manufacturing, supply chain, product or compliance. Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, lookups, cleansing and structured models. Experience with Power BI or a comparable tool; ability to work with SAP-derived data and large, imperfect datasets. Working knowledge of SQL and data transformation; experience with automation tools for consolidating data, performing quality checks, and streamlining recurring reports is an advantage. Strong analytical judgement, attention to detail, documentation discipline and stakeholder communication. Professional English and effective collaboration across global teams, suppliers and contract manufacturers.
