About this role

Specific Responsibilities The Maintenance Advisor, in conjunction with the EGPC counterparts, is responsible for delivering Maintenance Excellence; assuring asset integrity and improve plant reliability through strategic planning, scheduling and TQ-execution of maintenance activities of KPC’s equipment and facilities in a safe manner to maximize reliability and production. This is a 28/28 day rotational-contract position. • The Dep Maintenance GM is a lead company presence in the field(s) and expected to lead and drive four main areas: safety, production delivery, OPEX management/reduction and CAPEX optimization & savings. • In conjunction with JV appointed counterpart, accountable for maintenance excellence. The day-to-day maintenance of all main Gas Plants in WA (KAL, UMB) incl. main gas wells and pipelines. Total production >205 MMSCFD & >47.5 k Bo. • Lead and champion (process) safety as the #1 priority; initiate & support (process) safety improvements, drive adherence to processes (incl. SOP’s, MOC, override etc), proactive support SD-planning and readiness, and asset integrity initiatives. • Conduct audits and participate incident investigations, root-cause analysis, risk assessments and ensure actions are driven to completion. • Schedule and execute KPC’s maintenance program (hands on if necessary) including PM/CM’s, engine exchanges, overhauls, equipment inspections, plant TA’s, etc. as per manufacturer or API guidelines and operational requirements using a CoCMMS. • Strategize & coordinate scope of work, scheduling and critical path activities with other KPC departments and outside vendors to minimize impact and achieve safe execution. • Develop and establish a disciplined maintenance program for equipment PMs, engine exchanges/overhauls and plant turnarounds safely. And robust to drive backlog done. • Lead reliability improvement plans, bad-actor management, repeat failure elimination through RCA’s, optimize maintenance strategize based on equipment criticality. • Provide strategy & solutions to optimize run times, reduce costs, minimize downtimes and maximize production. • Co-develop & manage maintenance budgets and forecasts, ensuring cost control. • Manage contractor performance, ensure safe execution and (cost) effective execution. • Track inventory via the Oracle to ensure the necessary spares are available or ordered & delivered on time. Review min/max levels to ensure right stocking levels. • Develop & maintain an aligned Facility Status Report (incl. backlog, runtimes, reliability/availability etc). Provide critical day-to-day updates to APA Field Managers & APA Maintenance Mgr. • Accountable for maintenance related KPIs including equipment availability, PM/CM-compliance, backlog, cost-control and maintenance related production deferment. • Assist in development/training for maintenance staff, incl. on the job training • Support expansion of DOF (Digital Oil Field) project Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: • College/University degree in discipline relevant to oil and gas industry. • 15 to 20 yrs hands on relevant experience in (major) Oil & Gas processing-facilities. • 8 years of supervisory experience in working with multiple disciplines including safety, engineering, operations, and maintenance to deliver various projects • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in troubleshooting, maintenance strategy development and execution of (major) PM/CM of rotating equipment (pumps, recip & centrifugal compressors, turbines etc). • Experience in scheduling and executing shutdowns / turnarounds in a major industrial facility involving multiple disciplines and outside vendors. • Effective communication both within the field and with Cairo to coordinate work with Production Operations, Maintenance, Asset Integrity, Facility Engineering and Projects to optimize resources and minimize downtime and deferrals. • International experience and experience in an international JV is a strong pre. • Strong leadership & communication skills, ability to multi-task and forward plan project requirements, self-starter in identifying stategies, opportunities. • Demonstrable ability to drive accountability, challenge (contract) underperformance and follow through till full completion in complex operating environments.
