Job Description Assistant Restaurant Manager – Boiler House Restaurant (Opening Mid-January 2026) We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the launch and day-to-day operation of the Boiler House Restaurant , opening in mid-January 2026 . We're looking for a passionate and driven individual to support the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional food, outstanding service, and a great guest experience. With a strong focus on team development, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, you'll play a key role in establishing the Boiler House Restaurant as a premier dining destination. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will help oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and compliance are maintained. You will support the management team in driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and creating a positive working environment for both guests and employees. Free gym membership. Key Responsibilities Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant. Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service. Assist in managing labour, food, and operating costs to achieve business targets. Ensure waste management processes are followed and reviewed regularly. Maintain pricing, promotions, and menu standards in line with company guidelines. Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members. Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures. Act as Duty Manager when required and lead shifts confidently. Support achievement of KPIs and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Qualifications Previous supervisory or management experience within a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment. A hands-on leader who enjoys developing and motivating teams. Strong organisational and communication skills. Experience managing customer service and resolving guest concerns. Good financial awareness with an understanding of labour, food, and operating costs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings. Experience supporting a new restaurant opening would be advantageous.
