ENERGY SPECIALIST Ag View FS, Inc. | Princeton, Illinois $50,000 - $60,000 POSITION SUMMARY Ag View FS is hiring an Energy Specialist who wants to learn the energy business from the ground up and grow with us. You will learn all aspects of our business: diesel fuel, lubricants, propane, customer service, tank storage equipment and regulations, and how to work as part of a strong team. This is a learn-and-grow position, not a single-task job. We will train you in our way of doing business and give you room to take on more as you grow. For the right person, additional opportunities in the FS System are endless. No experience required. You don’t need a background in energy or sales. What we need is someone who is driven, curious, and eager to learn. We’ll teach you the energy business, from tanks and equipment to Dieselex Gold, Suprex Gold ESP, and FS Propane. You’ll learn alongside experienced teammates who want to see you succeed. ABOUT AG VIEW FS Ag View FS, Inc. is a farmer/member owned agricultural cooperative headquartered in Princeton, Illinois, and part of the GROWMARK/FS system. We supply energy, including diesel, DEF, lubricants, and propane, to farms and businesses across northern Illinois. WHAT YOU WILL DO AND LEARN You will spend your first year learning the energy business by doing it, working alongside experienced team members. Your day-to-day will include: Learning fuel and lubricant storage and dispensing equipment, including tanks, pumps, meters, hoses, and proper regulations Setting up, preparing, and delivering tanks to customer sites, and learning proper installation, placement, and safe-handling practices Assisting with product deliveries and learning bulk plant operations Providing great customer service: meeting customers on site, listening to their needs, and following up after delivery Keeping accurate records, paperwork, and tank documentation Following all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Working side by side with drivers, sales, and plant staff, and sharing ideas that help the team and our customers PRODUCTS AND PROGRAMS YOU WILL LEARN You will become knowledgeable in the products that set us apart and learn how to explain why they matter to customers: Dieselex Gold diesel fuel: what is in it, how it protects engines, and how it performs Suprex Gold ESP lubricants: the product line, applications, and advantages Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) , propane, and other energy products Tank equipment : the options we offer and how each fits a customer’s needs The wider GROWMARK/FS product lineup and how it supports our members Training will be hands-on and ongoing, with support from our team and from GROWMARK/FS product resources. You will work outdoors in all weather, lift and move equipment, climb in and out of trucks, and drive between locations. Hours may be extended during peak seasons such as harvest.
