About this role
Working within our OT Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, you will help protect the operational technology environments that support Sonova’s global manufacturing operations. You will combine hands-on security administration with monitoring, documentation, user support and close collaboration across Operations, Infrastructure, IT and Engineering. More about the role Administer and maintain OT security solutions, including application updates, installation checks and supplier support tickets. Support daily OT cyber security activities, including alert management, vulnerability management, asset inventory and user support. Develop and maintain practical OT security procedures, standard operating procedures and work instructions for routine security activities. Train and support colleagues in the effective use of OT security processes, procedures and solutions. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of OT endpoint detection and response and firewall policies. Participate in mitigation planning, testing and the rollout of new security solutions and improvements. Collaborate across Operations, Infrastructure, IT and Engineering, promoting security awareness and a strong cyber-secure culture. More about you You have completed vocational training in Information Technology, Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline. A bachelor’s degree and relevant OT certifications would be an advantage. You bring approximately two to five years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, together with knowledge of both IT and OT. You have hands-on experience in systems administration, IT networks and the installation, maintenance or updating of applications. You understand OT cyber security principles. Experience with complex IT architecture, manufacturing processes or cyber security projects would be beneficial. You work independently and precisely, with a structured, quality-focused approach and the ability to think across different technical disciplines. You communicate fluently in English and can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across IT, OT and Engineering. You are open-minded, inclusive, and collaborative, and are willing and able to travel internationally when required.
