Job Location Will be based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with project and site visits as required. Assignment duration: 3 months. Expected mobilization: January 2027. Responsibilities Architectural Design Review: Review architectural concepts, detailed designs, specifications, and drawings for functionality, completeness, and technical consistency. Laboratory & Cleanroom Planning: Assess research campus, biotechnology laboratory, cleanroom, circulation, zoning, and operational planning requirements. Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate architectural interfaces with structural, MEP, laboratory technology, safety, and other disciplines. BIM Review: Use BIM/Revit and clash-detection processes to identify design conflicts and improve coordination before construction. Sustainability Review: Review applicable LEED/BREEAM or equivalent sustainability considerations and recommend practical improvements. Design Comments & Closure: Issue structured review comments, track responses, and verify that critical design issues are satisfactorily resolved. Measures of success Design packages are coordinated, technically sound, and suitable for implementation with critical clashes resolved before construction. Architectural and laboratory planning requirements are clearly documented and consistently addressed by the design team. Requirements to be a successful candidate Education: Master's degree in Architecture. Professional Registration: A valid international professional architecture license or registration is required. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in design and/or design review of research campuses, biotechnology laboratories, cleanrooms, or comparable complex facilities. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in BIM workflows, including Revit and clash detection; practical knowledge of cleanroom planning and laboratory design. Sustainability: Experience with LEED, BREEAM, or comparable sustainable design standards is highly relevant. Languages: Strong professional English for project reporting, technical reviews, and coordination.
