YOUR ROLE Within the Reefer Department, you will play a key role in optimizing vessel utilization and ensuring the efficient flow of refrigerated cargo across CMA CGM’s global network. Working closely with Commercial, Operations, Cargo Flow and Agency teams, you will monitor vessel filling forecasts, manage space allocations and contribute to maximizing operational performance while maintaining a high level of service for our customers. You will act as a key interface between multiple stakeholders, ensuring cargo flows are optimized and aligned with operational and commercial objectives. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? Analyze bookings, forecasts and vessel capacities to anticipate filling rates and recommend optimization actions. Alert commercial teams, local agencies and operations teams regarding risks or opportunities impacting vessel utilization. Coordinate and communicate allocation decisions, operational instructions and voyage updates with relevant stakeholders. Consolidate commercial requirements and support the preparation of quarterly allocation plans. Act as a liaison between Cargo Flow teams, commercial departments, operations teams and agents across different regions. Ensure the optimal distribution of available vessel capacity while supporting cargo routing decisions. Monitor allocation consumption and loading forecasts, identifying situations of over-utilization or under-utilization. Take corrective actions in collaboration with stakeholders to restore operational balance when capacity issues arise. Support the management of reefer plug utilization and contribute to reducing overuse situations at ports. Identify and mitigate operational issues such as idle containers, misnominations and other situations generating additional costs. Monitor strategic and VIP cargo movements to ensure smooth execution and service reliability. Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly and yearly reports and statistics by loading port and final destination. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and cargo flow visibility. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field. Previous experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, transportation or operations is appreciated. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and make recommendations. Excellent command of Excel and proficiency with MS Office tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and autonomy. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate operational challenges and identify solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
