Descripción del puesto / Funciones <ul><li><p>Lead the end-to-end design, build, and strategic alignment of global network architecture solutions for a transnational financial services business.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, network diagrams, and long-term technology roadmaps.</p></li><li><p>Act as the technical lead across global infrastructure initiatives, including office moves, security enhancements, cloud migrations, and voice solution deployments.</p></li><li><p>Provide L3/L4 technical escalation support for critical network incidents and guide complex troubleshooting.</p></li><li><p>Drive network automation for asset compliance, security hardening, and operational efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Oversee operational handovers, process improvements, vendor management, and collaboration across cross-functional, multi-regional teams.</p></li><li><p>Mentor, train, and guide junior and peer engineering team members to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing</p></li></ul> Requisitos mínimos <ul><li><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5–8 years of L3 Network Engineering experience.</p></li><li><p>At least 3 years of Network Architecture experience designing global solutions in large, complex, or regulated environments.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Education:</strong> Engineering Degree or equivalent practical experience (Master’s degree preferred).</p></li><li><p><strong>Core Technical Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Routing & Switching / Architecture:</strong> Deep expertise in Internet, Intranet, Extranet, WAN, LAN, MAN, VPN, SD-WAN, SDN, and SASE solutions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Network Security:</strong> Strong background in Firewalls, IPS, DDoS mitigation, Proxies, B2B VPN, and application security controls.</p></li><li><p><strong>Application & Delivery Networking:</strong> Load Balancing, WAF, QoS, and interoperation between cloud-based and branch/end-user networks.</p></li><li><p><strong>Core IP & Directory Services:</strong> DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NTP, Active Directory, Certificates, and Cloud Identity Management.</p></li><li><p><strong>Hosting & Remote Access:</strong> Hands-on knowledge of On-Prem, Colo, SaaS, PaaS, and remote access solutions (VPN Gateways, Citrix).</p></li><li><p><strong>Documentation:</strong> Advanced skills in producing technical diagrams and architectural documentation (e.g., Visio, PowerPoint).</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Methodologies & Soft Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Proven leadership, solution design, and matrixed organization collaboration across multiple geographies.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to provide out-of-hours support and participate in international business travel as needed.</p></li></ul></li></ul> Requisitos valorables <ul><li><p><strong>Certifications:</strong> Professional or expert-level certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNP/CCIE), Palo Alto, Aruba, Cloud (AWS/Azure), or Network Security.</p></li><li><p><strong>Voice & Contact Center Solutions:</strong> Experience with enterprise voice networks (SIP, GSIP) and contact center infrastructure support.</p></li><li><p><strong>Advanced & Next-Gen Technologies:</strong> Exposure to distributed cloud network design, network automation frameworks, AI integration, and next-generation networking tools.</p></li></ul> Idiomas English is a must Ubicación Barcelona
