About this role
The Evoke Agency / The Tease Media If you’re the person who notices the edit, lighting, camera movement or sound design—and immediately starts thinking about how you would have shot it differently—we should probably talk.
We are looking for a Junior Content Creator to join our creative team. We’re looking for someone early in their career who already has a creative foundation and wants to get better by making a lot of different things. One week, you might be on set helping shoot a polished campaign with professional talent. The next, you could be cutting influencer content, photographing products, covering a high-profile event, or helping bring a national paid social campaign to life. If you’re interested in both production and social content, this is a chance to build experience across both.
A Day In the Life
• There isn’t really a “typical” project here—and we like it that way.
• You’ll have opportunities to work on:
• Brand + campaign content — from quick-turn social assets to larger photo and video productions
• Product photo + video — consumer and professional products, demos, tutorials and educational content
• Live-action production — working with models, talent and creators in both studio and on location
• Social-first content — Reels, TikToks, Shorts, cutdowns and platform-specific creative
• Influencer + creator content — editing and adapting creator footage into polished, brand-ready assets
• Event coverage — capturing photo and video in fast-moving, real-world environments
• Motion + animation — simple motion graphics, typography, compositing and animation in After Effects
• You won’t just sit behind an edit bay all day, and you won’t just operate a camera. We want someone excited to shoot, edit, experiment and learn.
Who We Are Looking For
• You don’t need ten years of experience. We’re specifically looking for someone relatively early in their career who has the fundamentals and curiosity to grow quickly.
• You should be comfortable with a camera and know your way around an edit. You understand that great social content isn’t just a vertical version of a commercial. You have an eye for composition, timing and visual storytelling, and you care about the details that make an edit feel right.
• Most importantly, you’re curious. You watch things and wonder how they were made. You save references, try new techniques and want to understand both the craft of production and the constantly changing world of social content.
Mandatory Skills
Adobe Creative Suite is a must, particularly:
• Premiere Pro — Comfortable editing, organizing footage, working with audio and taking an edit from selects through delivery.
• After Effects — You don’t need to be a motion design wizard, but you should be comfortable creating simple animation, motion graphics and polished social content.
• Photoshop — Familiarity with photo editing and image workflows is valuable.
• We’d also love to see experience shooting video and stills, strong editing instincts, basic lighting and audio knowledge, and an eye for visual storytelling. You should also understand what works on social and what keeps people watching.
• Beyond the creative skills, you should be comfortable taking feedback, communicating with a team, staying organized across multiple projects and hitting deadlines. Priorities can shift quickly, so being adaptable, proactive and willing to jump in where needed goes a long way.
Unexpected Benefits In addition to the traditional benefits package you'll receive if the position is extended to full time; exposure to cool clients and cool people, we have some non-traditional benefits too, including TTO — TEAM TIME OFF.
• One Friday every month, the entire company is off.
• Not “work from home.” Not “try not to schedule meetings.” Off.
• That’s 12 additional company-wide Fridays throughout the year to recharge, make something of your own, take a trip, sleep in—or do absolutely nothing.
• We think good creative work comes from people who have a life outside of work, too
SHOW US WHAT YOU MAKE A traditional résumé Send us your reel, portfolio, social content, personal projects—or whatever best represents what you like to create. If you’re early in your career and looking for a place where you can shoot more, edit more, learn more and make a genuinely wide range of work, we’d love to see what you’ve been creating.
Growth
This role will begin as a 40-hour-per-week limited-term contract role, including performance feedback at 30, 60 and 90 days and the opportunity to review the position after 90 business days. Starting at $20/hour
