Arden Building Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead multiple commercial, industrial, and specialty construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This senior leadership role provides oversight of project execution, operations, and client relationships. The position is also responsible for estimating and preconstruction collaboration, financial performance, contract administration, risk management, and team development.
The Project Executive ensures projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and to high-quality standards while strengthening client relationships and supporting business growth. This position would be based out of our Western Massachusetts location with occasional travel between company offices.
Essential Duties:
• Provide executive oversight for multiple commercial, industrial, and specialty construction projects from preconstruction and estimating through execution and closeout.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, serving as a trusted senior point of contact.
• Support business development, account management, project pursuits, estimating, and proposal strategy to help secure work and position projects for successful delivery.
• Drive project profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, cost control, billing, cash flow management, and project financial oversight.
• Provide leadership in contract administration, change order management, risk mitigation, claims resolution, and project controls.
• Partner with Project Managers and field leadership to achieve schedule, quality, safety, and performance objectives.
• Mentor, develop, and support Project Managers and emerging leaders throughout the organization.
• Champion continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence across project teams.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, operations, estimating, sales, account management, or a closely related field, including demonstrated leadership responsibility.
• Strong background in at least one of the following areas: construction project management, estimating or preconstruction, or sales and account management. Experience connecting client needs, project pursuits, and execution is highly valued.
• Proven success leading complex or large-scale construction projects, project teams, and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, project controls, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management platforms such as Procore, Sage, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, or similar software.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally between company offices based on business and project needs.
