Seasonal Position with Opportunity to Transition into an Aesthetician or Dual-Role Position:
This is a seasonal Receptionist | Client Experience position with an opportunity to transition into an Aesthetician role or a dual Receptionist + Aesthetician position based on business needs, performance, licensure, and mutual interest.
The position will initially focus on supporting the front desk and creating an exceptional client experience. As the season progresses, there may be an opportunity to expand responsibilities and transition into aesthetician services for a candidate who holds the required Colorado licensure and certifications.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both client experience and skincare and is interested in growing with Alchemy Face Bar.

Position Summary
As a Seasonal Receptionist | Client Experience team member, you'll be an important part of creating a welcoming, seamless experience for every client from the moment they arrive through checkout.
This role supports front desk operations, guest communication, scheduling, retail education, and overall spa operations.
For candidates with the required Colorado aesthetician licensure and certifications, there may be an opportunity to transition into an Aesthetician position or a dual Receptionist + Aesthetician position based on business needs, performance, client demand, and mutual interest.

What You'll Do
Client Experience | Reception
• Welcome clients and create a warm, professional, and personalized experience
• Support scheduling, appointment confirmations, client communication, and checkout
• Assist clients with product education and recommendations
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area
• Support opening and closing responsibilities and daily spa operations
• Assist with retail, inventory, laundry, and other operational needs as needed
• Support community events, pop-ups, and promotional initiatives
• Work collaboratively with teammates to deliver an outstanding client experience

Aesthetician Responsibilities
If transitioned into an Aesthetician or dual-role position, responsibilities may include:
• Perform skincare services according to Alchemy Face Bar protocols and standards
• Create personalized treatment plans based on each client's skin goals
• Educate clients on home care, treatment plans, and product recommendations
• Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and consistent follow-up recommendations
• Maintain accurate client documentation, including treatment notes, allergies, medications, and preferences
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space
• Participate in ongoing education, team meetings, and hands-on training

Qualifications
• Current Colorado Esthetician or Colorado Cosmetology License required for transition into aesthetician responsibilities
• Colorado Advanced Peel Certification & Colorado Manual Exfoliation Certification required for aesthetician responsibilities
• Ability to work the schedule outlined within this posting
• Flexibility as business needs evolve while we grow into seven-day operations
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
Compensation
Receptionist | Client Experience
+ $21.50–$22.50 per hour, based on experience
Aesthetician Compensation
If transitioned into an Aesthetician or dual-role position:
• 28%–30% on net service sales
• 10% on product sales
• 100% client gratuity
• Monthly performance-based bonus opportunities
• Commission increase opportunities after one year

Estimated Annual Earnings
+ $65,000–$85,000 based on schedule, performance, client demand, retail sales, and gratuities for full-time

Schedule
Seasonal Receptionist | Client Experience Schedule
• Tuesdays - 9:30am -6:30 pm
•
Saturdays - 10:30 am -5:30 pm
•
Sundays - 10:30 am -5:30 pm
Schedule and role responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and transition into an Aesthetician or dual-role position. Opportunities for full time may be available once role responsibilities evolve.
Physical Requirements
This position requires:
• Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
• Frequent walking between floors throughout the day, as the treatment room is located on the second level of the spa
• Bending, kneeling, reaching, and performing repetitive hand and arm movements
• Lifting and carrying up to 10–15 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance
