At the moment we offer a Golden Hello bonus for Pathways Trained CAs.

We are particularly interested in hearing from fully qualified Pathways Advisors who have successfully completed Core Module 1 and Clinical Modules 1 & 2, are up to date with all mandatory training requirements, and are PACCs trained.

To be considered for future homeworking opportunities, advisors must demonstrate a minimum of six months' performance with acceptable audit scores, good attendance in line with policy, no live formal disciplinary or capability management processes, and achievement of a minimum productivity of 3.8 cases per hour (CPH). All homeworkers are expected to maintain this productivity standard, and homeworking eligibility may be reviewed or withdrawn in line with the Homeworking SOP where required. You will be expected to attend your local site regularly with a minimum requirement of 24 hours per month as we need Clinicians on site to support the Health Advisors when needed.

Main duties of the job

You`ll receive:

Pay: £24.47 per hour (7am-11pm) and £27.83 per hour (11pm-7am), with further pay enhancements of £30.60 per hour when working between Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am. Please note that the weekend rate is guaranteed but it is not contractual, it is just an incentive for working unsociable hours Any training hours will be paid at £24.47 per hour 25 days annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays. What your typical day looks like

You will be required to speak with patients and providing them with telephone triage using the NHS Pathways systems. Use of your clinical knowledge will be key in order to make decisions on the most appropriate action to take as well as homecare advice to callers. In 111 we get calls about anything and everything, hence no two-days will be the same. However, you will receive a lot of support from the software systems. We offer set shift patterns so you`ll always know when you`ll be working

You`ll be trained on NHS Pathways systems, a recognisable licence that you`ll receive on completion of training.

Schedule:

Full-Time: Monday-Friday (9:30am-5pm) for 4 weeks + 1 additional day to complete internal training on LMS

It is essential that you attend training every day. You will undergo assessments and call audits throughout training. Passing these is essential to continue with the role. Failure to pass on your second attempt will result in no longer being able to continue with the role. After training, you will receive ongoing support to ensure youre ready to be signed off as a fully accredited Pathways Health Advisor. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Significant post registration training/consolidation and experience 2 years recent experience in adult acute or primary/community care Strong understanding of patient management in primary or secondary care Triage/telephone advice experience Clinical decision making capabilities ability to demonstrate critical thinking Experience of working independently We are looking for:

UK Registered Nurse (NMC) or Paramedic (HCPC) with appropriate post-registration acute Primary Care experience. Excellent listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills.

An NHS 111 Clinical Advisor you will be responsible for assessing callers with a wide spectrum of clinical conditions; advising them on home care management, next steps and referring them on to further care when appropriate. The computer-based clinical decision system will facilitate and support the advice given. IUC / NHS 111 clinical advisors are required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the service provided by providing highquality, evidence-based healthcare to the immediate needs of the patient.
