The Practice Pharmacist prescriber is an integral part of the clinical team, using and sharing pharmacy prescriber expertise to support the GPs and the whole practice in effective medicines management and optimal patient care. To develop the role of Practice Pharmacist prescriber in close collaboration with the partners.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Have relevant clinical experience.
Desirable
Experience of working in GP surgery.
Qualifications Essential
Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), have relevant clinical experience and complete an accredited independent prescribing course.
Desirable
Must be registered with the GPhC and completed the prescribing course.
