Job summary
Vine Medical Group is recruiting for an experienced Part Time Phlebotomist to join our Clinical Team.
Working closely with our Nursing Team, you will play a vital role in patient care by collecting blood samples to support diagnostic investigations and treatment decisions. You will be committed to delivering a positive patient experience, ensuring patients feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for throughout their appointment.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care, has excellent attention to detail, enjoys working with people, and thrives as part of a collaborative team.
We can consider candidates seeking 20 hours per week, worked between Monday and Friday. The preferred working pattern is two full days and one half day (morning or afternoon), ideally Wednesday and Friday, plus Tuesday afternoon. However, we may be able to accommodate alternative working days for the right candidate.
The role also includes one Saturday morning session per month as part of the contracted hours.

Main duties of the job
Working under the direct supervision of the Clinical Team and in accordance with Practice policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols, the post holder will provide a high-quality, safe and efficient phlebotomy service. This includes collecting blood samples from patients in a professional, timely and compassionate manner, ensuring patient comfort, dignity and safety at all times.
The post holder will also support the delivery of patient care by undertaking delegated duties appropriate to their skills, training and level of competence, contributing to the smooth and effective operation of clinical services.
