Main duties of the job As a Housekeeping Assistant - Bank at Grove Park Care Home, you'll join a supportive environment where you'll grow both personally and professionally. You'll work as part of a team, focusing on cleanliness and laundry maintenance, while operating under our standard operating procedures. Key responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties based on worksheet instructions, understanding cleaning needs for different surfaces, and ensuring residents' dignity and privacy. We value caring and compassionate individuals who demonstrate commitment to high-quality housekeeping services. Essential attributes include knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly in moving and handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in public setting laundry is preferred. Flexibility and adaptability in taking on various responsibilities are essential. Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions. Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected..
