At Acorns Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care for children, and young people with life-limiting and lifethreatening conditions, and we support their families through every step of their journey, and through transition. As a Clinical Systems & Data Analyst you will:

Analyse and report on clinical and operational data, producing clear reports, dashboards and insights that help teams monitor performance, identify trends and make informed decisions. Support and develop our clinical systems, including SystmOne, helping to configure and test improvements, troubleshoot issues and identify ways to improve processes, data capture and the user experience. Maintain high standards of data quality and governance, supporting accurate and consistent record keeping, performance monitoring, regulatory reporting and compliance with information governance requirements. Work closely with colleagues across Acorns, providing training and system support, understanding their data and digital needs, and using your expertise to support continuous improvement across our services. About You

Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Business Management, Health, Social Care, Data/Analytics or another relevant field Experience of working with data within a healthcare, social care, charity or education environment Experience supporting development, configuration or optimisation of SystmOne functionality Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including using formulas, data validation, charts & reporting) Able to train and support users in the effective use of clinical and digital systems What We Offer

In addition, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of immunisation against specific diseases or confirm their willingness to receive the necessary vaccinations.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent), or evidence of equivalent literacy and numeracy.

Desirable

Educated to Level 4 (e.g., NVQ or HNC,) in Business Management, Health/Social Care, Data/Analytics, Quality, or a related field, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience

Experience Essential

Experience supporting the development, configuration or optimisation of SystmOne functionality, including templates, forms, protocols or workflows.

Desirable

Experience using Power BI, SQL or other reporting and analytics tools.
