About this role

Job summary The post holder will work within the NHS Talking Therapies service and provide a full range of administrative support to the service. The ideal candidate will have good experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, alongside previous administration experience, including scheduling and working in a fast-paced environment.

Job description Job responsibilities Band 2 Administrator Salary: £25,272 per annum (NHS AFC Band 2) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Based: Morpeth, with the flexibility to travel and work from other locations within Northumberland, as necessary Are you organised, people-focused and ready to make a difference? NHS Talking Therapies Northumberland is a partnership between Mental Health Matters and Sunderland Counselling Service; two local and national providers of psychological therapies with a strong track record of success. About You We're looking for a reliable and approachable Administrator who is passionate about supporting people experiencing mental health difficulties and wants to make a positive difference through their work. You'll be confident communicating with a wide range of people and able to handle sensitive conversations with compassion, patience and without judgement. Experience of working within a health, care or mental health setting would be beneficial, as would experience of making appointments and supporting people accessing services. You'll be able to manage competing priorities, work well independently and as part of a team, and remain calm and professional when working under pressure. You'll also understand the importance of confidentiality, treating people with dignity and respect and maintaining a welcoming, person-centred service.
