A new opportunity for a deputy head of clinical services has arisen due to the expansion of a third site at Thorpe Wood, set to open in 2027 with two theatres for day case, diagnostics, and out-patient services. Boston, Lincolnshire also has a two-theatre day case facility.

The role
As Deputy Head, you will support operational management of clinical services, ensuring safe, effective delivery. You will be a confident clinical leader, solving problems and providing direction. Strong communication skills are essential for influencing and challenging practice.
Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based acute care, drive, creativity, and resilience for continuous improvement. You will help sustain high standards of patient safety and service quality.
You will lead improvements to patient pathways, advise nursing staff and teams, and deputise for the Head when needed. Essential are knowledge of quality governance, incident management, and data analysis.
