Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Human Resource Specialist to be based out of our regional office in Springfield, NJ. This position is responsible for providing support in the region to include operations, customer service, recruiting, administration functions, and general human resource functions in accordance with Sunstates' objectives. This position offers a base salary of $65,000.00 paid weekly - PLUS a performance-based bonus, medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401k plan with company match, tuition assistance, and more. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruiting • Identify and recruit high-potential candidates whose skills, culture, motivation and ambition align with our company’s needs • Work with management to identify internal hiring needs, understand job requirements, and create job descriptions and postings when needed • Conduct candidate pre-screening and coordinate in person interviews for managers • Assist with the on-boarding process for new hires: track pre-employment paperwork, create offer letters, liaise with HR department, etc • Continuously update Application Tracking System with relevant information- interview notes, resumes, salary, employment data, etc • Utilize social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to advertise our open positions and connect with relevant candidates • Attend local networking events and job fairs to interact with potential candidates General Human Resource Functions • Speak with employees to problem solve, identify opportunities for improvement, and response to officer feedback. • Host and conduct meetings with teams to address a variety of personnel items in partnership with regional leadership and guidance. At times will work with Corporate HR/leadership for a common goal. Operations • Maintain proper licensing for employees in the state • Run Overtime (OT) and Turnover (TO) reports, assist with reducing OT and TO in order to maintain company standards • Complete safety and accident reporting • Obtain random drug test results • Complete QA audits at client sites as well as regional office • Respond to Unemployment hearings electronically via ADP • Order uniforms and equipment as needed • Submit termination reports with backup documentation when appropriate Training & Education • Coordinate new hire completion of Sunstates Security Orientation and SOLO • Ensure proper training & education records are complete and saved in the personnel file • Assist with employee questions/training on eHub, LMS, Post Orders, etc

Job Requirements Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of related recruiting and administrative experience • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills • Computer literacy in MS Office, experience with an electronic payroll system and experience with an Applicant Tracking System • Ability to travel occasionally to visit all local site locations Education, Experience, and Skillsets Desired:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree highly preferred • Minimum two (2) years of recruiting or administrative experience • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively in a team oriented environment • Team player and people-oriented personality • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
