DescriptionA client of TEKsystems is seeking a versatile IT Systems & Applications Engineer to support a portfolio of business-critical IT initiatives at its Roseville site. This individual will serve as a key liaison between IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and project teams while helping drive the successful delivery of multiple ongoing projects.This role is ideal for a technical generalist who enjoys wearing multiple hats and can balance application support, project execution, vendor coordination, testing, business engagement, and technology implementation activities.Key ResponsibilitiesApplications & Business SystemsSupport and enhance internally developed business applications including the Donor Management System (DMS).Coordinate application testing, user acceptance activities, issue resolution, and release support.Serve as a liaison between business users, vendors, and technical teams.Assist with documentation, training materials, and user support.Project DeliverySupport multiple simultaneous initiatives, including:Custom Donor Management System (AWS-based application)IT Server Room Build-OutIndySoft ImplementationMesa ViewPoint UpgradeSAP / LabVantage DeploymentCoordinate project activities, stakeholders, vendors, timelines, and dependencies.Track risks, issues, and action items to ensure successful project outcomes.Infrastructure & Technology SupportAssist with infrastructure and application deployment activities.Support cloud-hosted environments and vendor-led implementations.Coordinate hardware, connectivity, endpoint provisioning, and system onboarding activities.Partner with enterprise IT and external vendors on infrastructure and security initiatives.Compliance & ValidationAssist with validation-related activities within regulated environments.Support documentation, testing, and change management activities.Partner with Quality, Technical Services, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are met.Skillsapplications architecture, aws, project delivery, systems engineering, Java, application development, Troubleshooting, devops, infrastructure designTop Skills Detailsapplications architecture,aws,project delivery,systems engineering,JavaAdditional Skills & QualificationsNice-to-Have Skills:AWS exposureApplication development experienceDevOps / CI/CDTerraform / Infrastructure as CodeSAP experienceLIMS / LabVantage experienceCSV / GAMP5 / ValidationPharma, Biotech, Medical Device, or regulated industry experienceInfrastructure modernization projectsNetwork and server room deploymentsExperience LevelExpert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Roseville, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
