DescriptionThe Category Manager is responsible for managing sourcing, contracting, and supplier-related activities for the Supply Chain department. This role oversees the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, executing, and maintaining agreements for supplies and purchased services. The Category Manager partners with internal stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Information Systems, Privacy, and Supply Chain to ensure contracts comply with organizational standards, mitigate risk, and support strategic business objectives. The position also serves as a key liaison between suppliers and internal customers, providing contract guidance, status updates, and support throughout the procurement process.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, negotiate, redline, execute, and maintain contracts for supplies and purchased services.Ensure all contracts comply with organizational, regulatory, and legal requirements prior to approval and execution.Manage sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and bid processes.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business goals and operational needs.Coordinate contract reviews with Legal, Finance, Information Systems, Privacy, and other cross-functional teams.Track and manage contracts through Workday Strategic Sourcing and related contract management systems.Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure records are properly stored within the organization's contract repository.Provide timely communication and status updates to stakeholders and leadership regarding contract and sourcing activities.Support value analysis initiatives, supplier diversity programs, and continuous process improvement efforts.Serve as a backup resource for other Supply Chain team members as needed and support evolving departmental priorities.Skillscontract management, negotiation skills, relationship management, Project management, risk managementTop Skills Detailscontract management,negotiation skills,relationship management,Project management,risk managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsThe Category Manager is responsible for managing sourcing, contracting, and supplier-related activities for the Supply Chain department. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $94993.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.$45.67 per hour Company Benefits will be shared with recruiters if requested.
