DescriptionWe are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for end users across a corporate environment. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for hardware, software, and system-related issues, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting Windows and Mac environments, Office 365 applications, mobile devices, and enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping users resolve technical challenges. Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, chat, remote access tools, and in-person interactions. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral issues. • Support Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, BitLocker, McAfee encryption, and other enterprise technologies. • Manage incidents, requests, and tasks through the ServiceNow ticketing platform while adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs). • Install, configure, and support desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, and other peripheral equipment. • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and serve as a technical resource throughout the resolution process. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all work performed within ServiceNow. • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive communication and effective issue resolution. • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced support environment to meet operational goals and service expectations. • Identify recurring technical or process-related issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and service quality. • Comply with all corporate policies, procedures, and security standards. • Complete assigned tasks and projects as directed by management and support dispatch activities as needed. Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years of desktop support experience within a corporate or enterprise environment. • Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and OneDrive. • Experience troubleshooting and supporting macOS environments. • Experience utilizing remote support tools such as Bomgar, BeyondTrust, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), or similar solutions. • Experience supporting collaboration and virtual meeting platforms, preferably Microsoft Teams. • Hands-on experience using ServiceNow or a similar IT service management (ITSM) ticketing system. • Strong understanding of desktop hardware, software installation, and endpoint troubleshooting. • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
