We're seeking an IT/OT Infrastructure Specialist to support and enhance mission-critical infrastructure that keeps industrial, refinery, retail, and business operations running securely and efficiently.This is more than a traditional network engineering position. What You'll Do Operational Technology (OT) Infrastructure Support

• Support and maintain infrastructure used by industrial applications, process control systems, historians, monitoring platforms, and OT environments. • Collaborate with OT engineers, process control teams, cybersecurity personnel, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure secure and reliable system operation. • Assist with connectivity and support for SCADA, DCS, engineering workstations, application servers, and industrial support systems. • Evaluate and document application dependencies, network behaviors, and operational requirements. • Implement and support network segmentation strategies, including VLANs, ACLs, firewall policies, and secure access controls. • Participate in troubleshooting and incident response activities impacting operational environments. • Help maintain secure IT/OT boundaries through cybersecurity best practices such as least privilege access, asset management, vulnerability remediation, and controlled remote access. Infrastructure, Virtualization & Storage Administration

• Support Windows Server and Linux-based environments, including vendor-managed industrial application platforms. • Administer and maintain virtualization technologies such as: • VMware vSphere • Hyper-V • Nutanix • Proxmox • Similar enterprise virtualization platforms

• Support clustered environments, high-availability systems, virtual machine lifecycle management, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning. • Maintain storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, and platforms such as TrueNAS. • Configure and troubleshoot: • NFS • iSCSI • Storage networking • Multipathing • Volumes and datasets • File shares and access controls

• Assist with infrastructure modernization efforts, server migrations, storage upgrades, and virtualization of legacy systems. • Validate system performance and functionality following maintenance activities and infrastructure changes. Network & Security Operations

• Support enterprise and OT network infrastructure including switches, routing, firewalls, and segmented environments. • Maintain secure communications between business and operational technology networks. • Assist with network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization. • Support change management processes and ensure compliance with operational and security standards. • Contribute to infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows Server environments. • Experience with VMware vSphere or comparable virtualization platforms. • Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including: • TCP/IP • VLANs • Routing and switching • Firewalls • Access Control Lists (ACLs)

• Familiarity with storage technologies, backups, and disaster recovery concepts. • Experience supporting infrastructure in manufacturing, industrial, refinery, utilities, energy, or other operational environments is highly preferred. • Strong troubleshooting skills across networks, servers, virtualization, and storage systems. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) environments. • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles and IT/OT segmentation. • Experience with SCADA, DCS, industrial monitoring systems, or process control environments. • Exposure to Linux administration. • Familiarity with cloud-connected infrastructure and hybrid environments. • Experience with infrastructure migrations, hardware refresh projects, and modernization initiatives. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
